As we all know the upcoming 62nd famous Subroto Cup is scheduled to start from 19 September 2023. This highly anticipated tournament will witness to participation of teams in three distinct categories Junior Girls (U-17) with a total of 33 teams, Sub-Junior Boys (U-14) with 37 teams, and Junior Boys (U-17). And they all total 39 teams participating.

Subrato Cup is a famous youth football tournament that takes place in India. This football tournament is one of the most prominent and widely followed football competitions for school-level players in the country.
Youth football tournament named after Air Marshal Subrata Mukherjee one of the founding figures of the Indian Air Force. The tournament beers his Legacy and reflects his commitment to sports among young individuals.
Subroto Cup was inaugurated in 1960 and the event evolved into an annual fixture. Initially in this tournament, Indian Air Force players can participate and then expand to teams representing schools and academics from both domestic and international domains.
Subroto Cup 2023 Schedule
As per information, the Subroto Cup 2023 football tournament will also hosted in the capital of Karnataka Bengaluru with Delhi and Gurgaon. This announcement was made by Air Marshal RK Anand VSM, air officer in charge Administration and boys chairman SMSES said “The 62nd Subroto Cup will indeed be historic given that it will be played in Bengaluru in South of India for the first time.
It has been our long-standing desire to spread the reach of this iconic tournament to more corners of the country and the hosting of the main sub-junior boy tournament in Bengaluru this year.
Collaboration With AIIF
This is a historic moment that the Subroto Cup youth football tournament will be organized under the all-India Football Federation. This is a significant milestone for this event. And selection committee will have the privilege of hand-picking the Subroto-11 team, who will subsequently be granted direct entry into the esteemed AIFF Youth League.
Subroto Cup 2023 Scholarship
So now talk about the Subroto Cup 2023 Scholarship, this scholarship will be given to 25 players in three categories.

Apart from this players get jobs and recognition on the basis of their participation in the Subrato Cup, which is verified or done by us, said group captain Yashwant Singh Panghal, who is also honorary secretary general of Subroto Mukherjee Sports Education Society.
